Lovely cafe. Friendly staff. The food is awesome, especially the bifanas and prego. The pastel de natas are the best I've had in the UK. Great value to.
Fantastic little place that sells a mix of Portuguese and South African products and foods. Food is really good and very reasonably priced and the owners are very friendly and nice. Cozy little place to sit and have a meal or a coffee and their bakery items are really good.
What a little gem, we wished we had this in our neighbourhood! We were staying at Wattlehurst Farm camping/fishing and came for a breakfast (and the fresh natas). Clear local favourite with full cooked breakfasts/and wraps, good coffee, smoothies and a very hearty Portuguese bifana special and of course hot-out -of the- oven - nata!
You know the kind of cafe that feels like home because every time you go they remember your coffee order and you'll probably meet someone you know or recognize and strike up a chill conversation over breakfast or brunch? That's Tasca. People are sharing tables when it's busy, making friends, introducing their cute dogs and the atmosphere feels like continental Europe. The music is chill, the food delicious and incredibly well priced and you can get a Portuguese egg tart that tastes like you're in Portugal. Students, families, local workers popping in for a hearty lunch or take away coffee, neighbors, visitors, everyone is here. Tasca is a place where the magic of a local community thrives and everyone is welcome.
A truly authentic piece of Portugal in the centre of Horsham! Lovely food, extremely friendly hospitable and courteous staff, and very reasonable prices. The pastel de nata are baked freshly on site, and are truly delicious!! A really interesting cafe to sit in also, with lots of Portuguese products to browse through. Will be heading back very soon!
What a great find. We visited this café and we both had the Prego Especial in traditional Bolo do Caco. This was the best steak sandwich that I've ever had. It was huge, the steak was so tender and very tasty. They also do Delta coffee which I love. The service here is also very friendly. We bought some Pastel de Nata to take out and they were still warm. I would definitely recommend Café Tasca and will definitely be back again.
Quirky café with serious Portuguese theme run by friendly couple. Dishes and pastries reflect that theme and there are lots of imported food products from Portugal as well, so plenty to look at, catch the eye and tempt the curious. Surprisingly for such a place in Horsham, it's even open a bit later than the usual coffee shop chains. I took the opportunity of a few days holiday at home to give it a try. Francesinha and a glass of red were filling and warming on a damp dreary autumnal afternoon.
We had the best Francezinha we’ve had in a while and will be going back to Tasca’s regularly from now on!
